The sound of the Yidaki (didgeridoo) played by Dharug man Blak Douglas filled the JHAC building at the Network’s 2014 Annual Public Meeting.
JH&FMHN was privileged to have Uncle Les Davison, Elder of the La Perouse Aboriginal Community deliver the Official Welcome to Country, while the keynote address was presented by the Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Citizenship and Communities, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Veterans Affairs, and Minister Assisting on Education.

The event also included highlights from the 2013/14 financial year, and a special perspective given by a carer of a custodial patient.

Record attendance at the meeting marked the event as a huge success with close to 100 guests indicating the last 12 months had been a significant year for the Network and that we should all be proud of our achievements.
