    Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network provides two Transition to Professional Practice Programs for newly qualified Registered Nurses. The two programs are; Custodial Health Transition to Professional Practice Program and the Mental Health Transition to Professional Practice Program in the Forensic Hospital.

    Each of our Transition to Professional Practice Programs for newly qualified Registered Nurses offers the opportunity to be an individual, not a number!

    • Programs commence in March each year

    The Transition to Professional Practice Programs enables the newly qualified Registered Nurse to experience firsthand the diverse range of career options within the health system. Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide health network responsible for providing healthcare to men, women and adolescents in custodial and forensic settings in NSW. Our service includes correctional inpatient facilities and primary health centres, forensic mental health inpatient hospitals, courts, community and post release/discharge settings.
