If you are feeling down or worried, you can talk to someone about it.
- Call the free Mental Health Helpline (option 9 on the yard phone). Calls are confidential. Tell the mental health specialist if you need an interpreter.
- Fill in a self referral form and put it in the secure box in your pod area, a Justice Health nurse will collect the form and organise a time to see you.
- In an emergency, knock up in your cell by pressing the emergency button.
- Ask to speak to a doctor or nurse.
